Advisers that have a large pipe line, cases in underwriting, and millions of dollars under management are not in need of a pep talk. These people spend their spare time doing something they enjoy. Wouldn't you rather be spending your time with your family, rather than listening to a long winded raw raw speech. A lot of advisers are misinformed when it comes to marketing. A lot of advisers have been told that product knowledge, cold calls, and a positive attitude will make all their dreams come true. In reality this is a recipe for disaster. Most people who get into this business quit in the first year. The reason why these people quit is because their broke and frustrated. If only these same people were to spend their time in front of people instead of making useless cold calls. Unless Tony Robbins and Brian Tracy are willing to give you some referrals put the book down and find some people who will give you referrals! The only way to make it in this business is to use the S.T.P method. S.T.P stands for see the people. In this article I am going to go over a method of getting in front of a large group of qualified clients so your time is well spent. One of my recent clients was able to get fifty new clients in three month using the method that I am about to reveal to you.

Recently I found out about an organization that will put you in front of qualified clients and allow you to help your community at the same time. The name of the organization is the Society of financial awareness. The Society of financial awareness is a 501 non-profit organization that provides corporations, family owned businesses and organizations a financial education through seminars and workshops. The Society of financial awareness or S.O.F.A for short, offers seminars for free. SOFA has been around for six teen years I can kick myself for not knowing about them until recently. SOFA will educate you on how to position yourself as the safe investment expert for companies and government agencies in your area. SOFA offers free seminars to business and organizations to obtain useful information that will help them identify their financial needs. Just a little warning here, if you are not comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people this may not be for you.

If public speaking is not something that scares you SOFA can help position you as the safe invest expert for the whole city you work in. Your audience will consist of business owners, and community leaders. Right now every body is looking for information on how to save and make money. By becoming a member of SOFA you can educate business owners on the tax benefits that life insurance provides. SOFA will not let you do a thirty minute sales pitch to business owners. However, you will be allowed to speak in front of this influential crowd in regards to the benefits of gift trust, setting up non profit organizations, and other profitable subjects. SOFA's non-profit speaker's bureau is an excellent way to open up an unlimited number of new workshop opportunities! By becoming a member of SOFA hundreds of new clients will be yours in no time flat. There is no logical reason to waste thousands of dollars on a useless seminar selling system when the good people at SOFA can use your help. So rather than quitting the business check out SOFA, toastmasters, and other groups that focus on public speaking. You do not have to spend your life making cold calls to people who do not deserve your time. Follow an effective marketing system and live your dreams.
