There are an incredible number of options for Individuals, Families, Business Owners and Small Groups. Everyone has unique needs and different ideas as to how they wish for their health insurance plan to work. The number of plans and benefits almost seem endless to the shopper.By clicking on a health insurance website may offer plenty of choices, although you must be careful. Some plans do not include maternity, or brand prescription drugs, others have no coverage for outpatient services. So a health insurance shopper should review, do their homework and talk to a an independent agent for advice. All of these plan types work a little different from each other. Health Insurance rates in California are determined by many factors including but not limited to; Zip code, your health status, current medications, your height and weight, if you are a tobacco user and if you have been advised to have a procedure in the near future. These will all affect your rate and insurability. California companies cannot permanently exclude coverage for pre-existing conditions. Ask questions, read the brochure, talk to your neighbors and contact an independent agent for their opinion.
